Our mission is to empower Muslim communities across the East African diaspora by providing humanitarian assistance, expanding access to education, and uplifting community voices to create lasting, community-driven change.
We aim to do this through 3 consistent pillars:
Educational Opportunity:
- Hosting 1-on-1 or small group classes on community-identified topics (e.g., English, Math, Science)
- Supporting the build of sustainable education systems, including schools and libraries, across East Africa
Technology Proficiency:
- Teaching computer literacy
- Donating laptops to daycares or schools
- Teaching basic information systems or computer science skills
Food & Water Access:
- Hosting suhoor and iftar meals (breakfast and dinner) during Ramadan
- Donating in bulk to local food banks across East Africa
- Hosting food packaging events in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area
- Creating water wells in water-scarce communities across East Africa
